In 2022 I moved to Hawaii and started my freelance photography gig. I purchased a professional grade camera. Then I taught myself all the ins and out’s of a dslr. I then proceeded to Learn how to edit my photos in Light room. This gave me the ability to take high quality photos to grow my business.

Why UGC work is Important
Social media platforms are one of the main sources of income and revenue in todays day and age. Everyone in every age bracket and demographic spends on average 145 minutes per day on their phone. Today we have the power to do anything from our phones. Instagram can be used as a marketing and advertising platform. You can even self promote your posts to reach a larger audience. Instagram has a business dashboard. Which includes ad tools, branded content tools and the ability to look at personal analytics. This tab includes insights to what time to post, what day to post, what state you are getting the most views from and from what gender. This then opens a whole new door to your ability to curate your content to relate to your audience. Say for example most of the people viewing your posts are women from the ages of 18-23. You aren't going to create content and collaborate with brands that don't have something your audience is interested in. You have to know your crowd as they say. The ability to acquire a following and build an income while doing it is now more attainable than ever. This is applicable on every platform. On TikTok you can gain something called the "creator fund". Which is a compensation from TikTok based on a creators performance. The higher the views, likes, shares and comments the higher the fund. This mean you have to keep on trends. UGC allows you yo do this seamlessly and to be able to grow your following and increase your revenu.
